FRANKFORT, Ky. – Kentucky Strong, a Republican women’s leadership training program headed by State Senator Julie Raque Adams, is excited to have nine members of the group’s Inaugural Class running this November for State Representative.
“I believe these nine women will make history this November by being the group that finally ushers in a new Republican majority in the Kentucky House of Representatives,” said Sen. Adams. “These ‘Majority Girls’ are ready to win and will effectively communicate their message to voters that we need pro-growth, pro-jobs policies in Frankfort. The old way isn’t getting the job done in Kentucky. We need fresh leadership that will bring real change for the betterment of families across the state.”

Wendy Fletcher – An Eastern Kentucky nurse practitioner who serves as President of the Kentucky Coalition of Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Midwives, Wendy will be a strong voice for improving the state’s healthcare system. Rachelle Frazier – Rachelle has deep Kentucky values and as the Director of Life Transformation Ministries, Inc., works with churches, the court system, Drug Court, and Social Services to offer assistance to individuals and families who are in need of life skills. Melinda Hill – With over 30 years of business experience in Bowling Green, having worked for Fortune 500 companies, locally owned businesses, a regional bank, a non-profit and Western Kentucky University, Melinda has the experience, skill and forward-thinking approach needed to bring good jobs to Warren County and all of Kentucky. Joni Hogancamp – Joni is a Paducah business owner who founded Caring People Services, which provides non-medical services for individuals in the Purchase area, including veterans. Hogancamp’s business employs more than 80 caregivers who help clients remain in their own homes. Norma Kirk-McCormick – A recently retired vocational rehabilitation counselor with the Education and Workforce Development Cabinet, Norma believes it’s now Frankfort who needs a good rehabilitation. Prior to spending 20 years in the field of vocational rehabilitation, Norma worked for 10 years as a social worker. She makes her home in Inez, KY and is a candidate for the 93rd House District. Kim Moser – Kim has put her background as a neonatal intensive care nurse to use as the former Director of the Northern Kentucky Office of Drug Control Policy. In that role, she fought the scourge of heroin and drug abuse that have been deeply felt across the region. As past of Director and Chair of the American Medical Association Alliance, Kim will continue her fight in Frankfort against drug abuse and for a better healthcare system across Kentucky. Sarah Provancher – Sarah is the President of a Louisville-area public relations and marketing firm and she intends to bring that business background to Frankfort to help improve Kentucky’s economy. She is deeply involved in the Louisville community where she was named a 2014 Forty Under 40 leader by Business First magazine and a “Way to Go” Woman by Today’s Woman magazine. Sarah is a candidate for the 31st House District.
Melinda Gibbons Prunty – A strong conservative, Melinda will take her strong conservative values to Frankfort to make a difference in lives of families across Kentucky. As the Director of Youth Ministry for the Diocese of Owensboro, Melinda works with children across western Kentucky. Paula Robinson – An educator for the past 23 years, Paula currently teaches Preschool/Head Start students at Benton Elementary School. She is active in a number of local pursuits, including the Benton Woman’s Club, a volunteer organization dedicated to improving the community and enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service.
